Anyone for a simple "Why X?" essay?

<p>Would anyone be willing to look at my draft of the "Why ____ College?" essay for a liberal arts school?</p>

<p>It's around 400 words, and I need to cut it to at most 300 without compromising what I want to say. I'd also like a second opinion on whether or not it shows enough personality (it's kind of difficult to tell if something you've written "sounds like you"). </p>

<p>I'd prefer non '09-ers, but if you're not applying ED to the same college I don't mind. :)</p>

<p>i'm not applying ED to a liberal arts college, and i'm only applying to one LAC. what school are you applying to? if it's not hte same one i'm applying to (it's an all-girls school), then i can read your why x!</p>
