Anyone from socal hear yet?

I live in the LA area an I'm starting to think that I'm rejected because I didnt get anything in the mail today

semp -- no one from my school has heard anything (reject or acceptance), and everyone and their mother at my school applied to stanford.. so.. who knows.. i'm kinda nervous. i wish they'd just send my thin envelope already.

mine too.... something like 50 people applied to stanford

well, someone from my school got a phone call... as a deferee i didn't.
we'll find out for sure tomorrow, good luck to you.

I think the letters come tomorrow. I haven't heard anything yet either.

Nothing yet. I think today I might find something out or at latest Monday.

i live in LA...and i didn't get anything today...has anyone here in the south gotten acceptances?.

I guess I was wrong. I didn't get anything yet. I heard people in the Bay Area have received news.

hey sunkist!!! good luck! and go on the UCLA board for once u're never on it!

see you at school. :)

no word here...live about 2 hours from LA...just checked the mail
~Good luck everyone :)

I was deferred SCEA, but I got a call Thursday night from the admissions office telling me to expect a thick envelope in the mail by Monday. I live in So Cal - mail hasn't come yet but it could very likely be here today.

Accepted here in Orange County.

I can't believe it. Especially since I'm lying.

Here's to Monday! I'm scared.

hahah, awesome post! :)

damn another 2 days until decision

I get first-class mail sent to me in Orange County from Northern California nearly every week. Close to 100% of the time, it is delivered the second day. Nothing today for me one way or the other. It looks like Stanford blew the deadline.

Too bad the admissions office seems unfamiliar with the concept of email (used by Harvard and others) or a secure admissions website (used by Yale, Brown, Dartmouth and many others) to convey admission decisions.

Why is Stanford so old fashioned and low tech?

i heard today. Accepted! :) :) very very happy!

good luck to everyone else! mail is so annoying, but envelopes are more satisfying than online. i bet stanford goes to email in the next year or two, unless they are resisting on purpose.

maybe they will... I really wont care if I get accepted

signifynothing -- where do you live?

my mailman just knocked on my door (haha, he was delivering a priority envelope and said congrats on ucsd, who sent a postcard), and i'm really hoping that not getting a letter yet doesn't mean rejection.

p.s.: dear stanford, april 1st has come and gone, get on with it.

im in north carolina right now. but i called home (south bay of los angeles) and my mom said i got my acceptance from stanford today!

whoooooooooooooo socal accepted :) :)
