anxious to hear what ppl think–visiting April 9th. Hopefully, cof c is not a commuter school??

meant to say suitcase school

RE: suitcase school

If you are asking do kids go home on the weekends, remember that 30+% are OOS. My IS student, about 3 hours from CofC. came home 3 times this year – 3 days during fall break, about 6 days over winter break, and 3 days last week for spring break. I think almost all freshman live on campus. My s’s roommate, a sophmore, is from the Charleston area. has lived on cmapus for 2 years and rarely goes home. I guess whether or not that is the norm for local kids would depend on the kids and the parents.

Thanks. We are from ME and just worried about that–have been to Charleston and anxious to see the campus in a few weeks!

For all those accepted …congratulations!..would really appreciate if you wouldn’t mind posting your stats. Particularly those out of state acceptances. Thanks!
