Just curious if anyone on the west coast has received their Andover package.

I’m in california and I haven’t received anything yet
Hoping for the best but expecting the worst!

I’m in California, and I haven’t either same as ^, hoping for the best but expecting the worst I am trying to stay positive and hope I get it but my parents don’t seem to think I will :(

I’m in the southeast (irrelevant, i know) and I haven’t gotten anything from Andover either…I really want to believe that I’m getting something, but everyone else has gotten their stuff and the sun is setting here! Does fedex ship this late???

@photographygirl
Haha same here! My parents were like “well Fedex doesn’t deliver this late. Sorry.”

Also irrelevant (sorry!), but I’m in the East Coast, and I haven’t received anything from Andover or Deerfield. THINK POSITIVE. :)

I received mine.

midwest, nothing yet.

West coast, nothing

WorriedOne, where are located?

I believe that the majority of the acceptance packages are going to be delivered on Monday or Tuesday of next week because I remember reading somewhere that they were sent out today.

If i remember correctly from last year, since Andover snail mails their letters, you’ll have to wait a couple more days. Best of luck!

Does this mean bad news? That the decisions we receive Monday or Tuesday can only possibly be rejections or wait lists?

pretty much, yeah unfortunately. :(

It’s not bad news, depending on where you live. If you live near Andover it’s pretty much bad news, but most of the packages to the west coast have yet to arrive.

I’m not on the west coast, but I live about a thousand miles away.

^^ Why would the packages “not arrive”? I mean, they’re FedEx after all: “when it absolutely, positively has to be there!” Remember that line? Those that got in got them; those that did not, did not. I would put my faith in FedEx. Certainly, if anyone gets a FedEx on Monday, please let the board know. It just strains credulity that some would be getting FedExs on Saturday and others on other days – that’s now how FedEx works.

I agree FedEx is usually pretty reliable. When they say they deliver b on a certain date by a certain time they usually do, but delay could happen in rare cases. The best thing you could do is to go on FedEx website or call FedEx and find out if Saturday delivery is available in your area and what time they deliver. Better yet call and find out if there is a package due to be delivered for you. I hate seeing people waiting anxiously for something that’s very likely not there in the first place. I think it’s time for Andover to make the change and adopt an online notification system.

Maybe it was lost somehow… but they send out the FedEx overnight acceptance packages on March 9 (according to Jane Fried’s Twitter). For everything else, it’s regular mail. Don’t lose hope!

What about Wisconsin?

andoverhopeful, nothing…
