Anyone get a "reminder" email?

Has anyone gotten a "reminder" email saying they have not yet received Part II? My friend's son did. Apparently, he completed this online and sent it sometime late December. My sister, many moons ago, had her application papers lost too.

I should say he got a "verification" email as soon as it was submitted.

My son got a notification that something was missing, that had been submitted. Then he called to make sure they had gotten something else he submitted later and they didn’t have that. Then he inquired about an alumni interview, and was told he was contacted by an alumni but the alumni reported he was ‘non-responsive’-- he was never contacted by anyone.

Had a similar experience with Dartmouth, but not as bad. they couldn’t find the alumni interview report so he interviewed a second time.

Geez. I just remembered she told me her son had gotten an offer for an alumni interview. But I don’t think he took it because he had already been interviewed. They probably now have him as “non-responsive”.

I know he called the office to see if they have everything, but the person who answered told him he has to send an email. I just wonder when Georgetown’ll change their process so at least the kids can check.

I called the office to see if all my materials were received, but they said to email them, like you said. I emailed and still haven’t gotten an answer back. I’m worried.

My son was sent this reminder notice too. He emailed a copy of his verification right away. Then he called and was told to email them. So he sent another email, and no news. That was 2 weeks ago.

True, GT admissions may have still been digging out from all the snow, but it’s unsettling that they haven’t confirmed anything by now and it’s unsettling there isn’t a site (with password and user name) to check your status the way other schools have that.
