<p>I got a call from UNC admissions today too. I was sleeping, so my brother took a message - just calling to congratulate me on being accepted. I like how they're reaching out and really seem to care.</p>

<p>No call, No likely letter; Actually I haven't gotten ANY mail from UNC period except of course my online acceptance letter O.o</p>

<p>EA people only, since the RD deadline hasn't even passed yet. Anyone know what the phone call "means", if anything? Were they only for those with likely letters? I wish I could have answered..</p>
<p>D got a call a couple of days ago. She saw it as a "courtesy call"...and a chance to ask any questions (she didn't have any). I wouldn't get too upset if you miss the call (or don't get one) if you were EA....it's a nice touch, but I don't think you should try to read anything into it. BTW, she just got her mailed acceptance package today, and we are in-state.</p>
<p>I was out of the country all of December, and got back middle of January. So as expected, there were piles of mail. I'm pretty sure I got everything that cae but I didn't see either. I'm kind of nervous, as I don't remember seeing an email either. Any way of finding out if I got a letter but just didn't receive it? I know I got in EA already, just wondering about the scholarship part.</p>
