Of course, if you get in, I think you should go, but if anyone got into another school that they plan on going to instead, could you say here? I'm on the waitlist, as are a bunch of other CCers, and I'm just trying to gauge if anyone isn't going, and thus opening spots? Thanks!!</p>
<p>First, congrats on getting on the waitlist 
I hope you do get in! I did get in, and will hopefully be going if my FA is enough. However, let me remind you of one thing:</p>
<p>They accept MORE students than they have spots. This is because their yield is not 100%…this means that if their yield is exactly or more than what they expected, they will not accept anybody off the waitlist. For example, if they expect 82% of accepted students to enroll and 85% decide to go. This is why Deerfield over enrolled last year, because their yield was higher than expected.</p>
<p>So, their yield would have to be LESS than what they predicted in order to accept students off the waitlist. Going with the above example, this would be where only 80% of students accepted decide to enroll.</p>
<p>I am not trying to be negative, please don’t think that. But this is something I realized last night and was not sure if everybody else realized, too :/</p>

<p>Have an AWESOME time at Hotchkiss. Like 10 people at my school got waitlisted there, so it was soooooo competitive! Congratulations! And texaschica, thats amazing that you got into both. </p>
<p>I just got back from SPS revisit and it was AWESOME! I feel much better. SPS is amazing. If I get off the waitlist, that’s wonderful, but if I don’t, I’ll be totally happy with SPS.</p>

<p>I was accepted to Exeter as well, but during my Revisit Experience, it didn’t exactly knock my socks off. I decided to attend Peddie, a lesser-known (but still prestigious) school.</p>
