if so, wat did you/plan to wear?

was there anywhere on the application (or any other place) where one is supposed to indicate interest in an interview or do they initiate the scheduling themselves?

No Penn (according to campus tour) has 50% interviews. You do not call. They arrange. You don't indicate. And plus this is how my cousin did it.

i had my interview not a while ago.

Just wear what you think is most appropriate.. not very hard to do.

I had some nice slacks and wore a nice polo shirt.

Wear jeans and t-shirt and you seem like you don't care, and if you wear a tie and such then you'll simply look stupid because it's a casual interview.

My interviewer and I actually had a fun conversation about Borat and him in the Ali G Show... Borat rules. Dunno how it got there though.

I just had an interview recently. Yes, you don't call them. They arrange it.

what is the likelihood at this point that they will still contact somebody for an interview?

dude my friend who did ED last year interviewed on November 21st. Relaaaaaaaaaaaaxxxxxx. It's all in THEIR hands and THEY will contact you...don't worry, the apps are in, there's nothing that you can do at this point. Just sit back and chill...

i cant relax, are u insane!? 36 days man - and i rly think im better in person than on paper. i NEEEEED an interview. =(

i just got an email for an interview from a guy named Donald Chan...i cant wait for this

i had my interview on monday...i wore a tie...because its better safe than sorry. I had to interview with the Chairman of the Dept. of Medicine at a local hospital...he was pretty important...and kinda boring. But it was pretty casual....he tried to sneak in some questions like "how many kids at your school go to college" stuff like that. Basic stuff tho...plus he said that he highly doubts that interview is considered with any great weight...so just relax.

My interviewer just graduated from Wharton last year and was really fun. We basically talked about the social life at Penn. He was very insightful about all the opportunities offered at Penn but made it fun listening to him.

I was about an hour late to the interview but he understood after explaining to him that my dad and I had a flat tire while rushing to meet the appointment. Overall, I think I made a good impression.

Paro, you'll get your damn interview. Go get drunk or something

tried that. woke up with a headache, a new number in my phone. and 36 MORE days.
what useless advice, hrithik darling. =D

got mine...took 15 mins....def not a big deal

old guy who talked more about himself than asking me questions or letting me ask questions.....

um i JUST got a phonecall and suddenly i find myself with an interview next tuesday. that was pretty quick...

i guess im a little bit nervous...blehhh

I'm really nervous...and I haven't even been called. In a way, I'd like one...but in another way, I'm nervous that it would go badly. How do they factor interviews into the overall application? Do they really make any difference at all?

I haven't been called either. I sent in my application on Nov. 1 postmark.

I got an email. Phone calls are too hard. If the interviewer does not get you, you end up playing phone tag.

LITERALLY just got called. Am scheduled for Monday. I'll let everybody know how it goes ;)

I didn't think I'd be...but I'm actually kind of pumped...
