Anyone get in Columbia University Scholars Program and get named a ____ scholar?

Four different kinds of scholars, forget the names. What's the scoop on this people?

i know what it is, i just don’t know how useful or unique the program is, I want to hear from those with experience in it. I am not that dumb, I found out more about the program, but just what they tell you. I want to know “the scoop” on it, you know, the insider info, what it is really about and stuff.

I was chosen as a John Jay Global Scholar. I couldn’t really tell you what the ‘scoop’ on me is, though :)

There’s already a thread on this.

where’s the thread on this?
I got a likely letter and designated a scholar, is the designation like a post acceptance likely letter type thing.
Would anybody take this program instead of Harvard or Stanford for instance, is it that big of a deal, or is it just an initial incentive. Does it pay off, is it worth to let schools like hyp up for this?

next time please take a minute to search the forum for answers to your question. we like answering follow-ups that ask for more depth or detail a lot more than we like answering the basics for the tenth time.

sorry, i forgot searching was an option, sorry
