Stanford's site says SAT II is not required and not taking it does not affect your chances.... Is this true? Since I only have 1 good SAT II score under my belt and I do not want to wait until RD to apply to Stanford. (I want to get 800 on Math IIC)

it does affect your chances, because it explicitly states that taking 2 subject tests is STRONGLY RECOMMENDED

just take 2

I didn’t send my SAT or SATII scores and got in with a 34 ACT.

the thing is that I’m taking SAT I on october and Math IIC on november…
i guess im forced to RD. :(

Forced? No, it’s in your best interest to RD.

Take another test. If you don’t get in, you’ll forever wonder if the sole reason you didn’t make it was because you didn’t take another test. That could get annoying…

whoa llpitch, really? i was thinking about doing that next year but was too afriad of what they’d think (i live on the east coast).
where do you live? and jw are you an urm or something?

Well he wants to take more tests to improve his application. Only apply SCEA if your 100% certain its the best application you can put together. If you can make it better by waiting till RD, then wait till RD. I live in Honolulu (look left…) and no I’m not a URM.
