Anyone get into engineering w/o SAT 2s?

Hey,

I was wondering if anyone got accepted to USC engineering (specifically Comp E or EE) without taking SAT 2s? The problem I have is that I always thought that I would be a doctor, and so I have not taken physics yet, and I learned literally nothing from my AP chem class, so I can't take an SAT 2 for that either without totally bombing it and wasting money. So what other SAT 2s can I take besides math (and btw, for math, can I take 1 instead of 2, or will that look bad, especially since I'll be doing calc 2 this year?)

thanks!

(btw, if you know people who are similar to me, as in 3.9 UW, 30 ACT, with a few leadership and ECs, I'd really like to know about those rather than those super applicants with 4.0s and 33 on the ACT that probably don't need them anyway)

My son was accepted to USC with the ACT only and no SAT II. He is in Viterbi with a computer engineering major. He took AP calc but did not take the AP test. His ACT was 32 and a 3.97 uw gpa. He did not have a lot of leadership but he had quite a few ECs and involvement in things mostly outside school.

We are from Montana so I don't know if geography helped him or not.

why not take both 1 and 2? if you have to choose between the two, i would take 2 because math1 is similar to the SAT1 math and math2 shouldn't be too hard with the curve, especially if you've taken calculus. you can always try chem...i also did not learn much in my ap chem class but pulled off a 690 and i guessed on a lot of questions...
