Sigh, I am a junior transfer applicant. My community college GPA is a 4.0 with over 50 units. However, my high school grades are really bad as well as my SAT scores.
What should I do? :( Taking the SATs again? omg.. I dont think my scores will improve much from what I've scored before!! :(

SIGHSIGH..

My major is communication.

lol thats a good ?. do transfers actually retake the SATs after their senior year? i got an 1850…which could’ve gotten me in but it didnt. its not like i had a 1500 or anything. but ive never seen a college student take the sats where i take it. and i dont think mine would improve much either like u said. unless i reeeally study.

btw howd u get a 4.0 in college if ur gpa isnt that good from hs? jw how that works.

Hi! If you are transferring as a junior, they pay way more attention to your college career. They make you send your HS transcript and your SAT scores as a formality.

I’m a comm major and I transferred to NYU in 2008.

im transferring as a freshman. okay is this a good idea?: im going to go to community for this summer (im a senior right now in hs) and then go to the fall semester = 2 semesters. and then apply again. i will have more than 30 credits (about 42 at the end of summer semester) and 8 or 12 in the fall. however when i apply, i wont know what my grades are (if i apply in fall)…do i have to wait till i get my grades back tho?

i never tried in hs. however, i studied and did my best for every clases i took for the past 2 yrs.

oh okay…what were ur stats if u dont mind?
