one of my friends got a rejection letter in the mail, i didnt. does that mean people who did get letters are accepted? just wondering

Everyone gets a letter, acceptance or rejection.

oops, i meant, do people who get letters after today get accepted

not necessarily. they don’t mail out all the letters at the same time

i got rejected i had 3.5 gpa, 23 act(ouch!), and lots of leadership/extra cirrculars though…is it worth it to appeal?

@roxsora - is UW your top choice? If you really want to go to UW, you should definitely go for it!

roxsora: Better to appeal now then have regrets later down the road. Go for it!

i got rejected today too! my stats are 3.8 gpa (with honors and ap classes), 32 act, good essays, and great ecs…iono uw admissions is strange, i’m going to appeal! you should too roxsora!

^oh, wow, you have great stats, im really nervous now

Seems like all we’ve heard about are rejections, some are quite inexplicable…

The admissions office usually sends out the batch of letters as waves, like a wave of acceptances and a wave of rejections. These last couple of days, I’ve heard a lot of people getting rejected… :(

I’m just curious, but how does appealing work? oo" But anyways, if UW is your top choice, YOU SHOULD DO IT ^^

i applied on the deadline, jan 15th, and go accepted on the 3rd of february. has anyone heard from honors yet? that’s just what i’m waiting for.

@kfleis - people started hearing back from Honors at the end of January
