I heard from the admissions office at the University of Chicago that decisions should be sent out this week. I'm hoping to hear from them late this week or early next week.

Brown and Yale are post-marking their decision letters this Friday (April 15th). I talked to them today. Both schools printed up all of the decision letters last Friday and today. They will be sending them in the mail this Friday (tax day)! For those of you who applied to either school, we'll be receiving them by next Tuesday...or so I was told :)

It's really hard to wait to hear back from schools. At this point I'm so sick of being at my current school (DePaul) -- I'll be happy to get into any of the schools I applied to, although I have to say I'd be really happy with UChicago. =)

That is awfully surprising considering Yale receives a lot of transfer applications. Perhaps the pool was unimpressive...

Wait, that's insane, because I just today got a mail from them saying that they were missing my ****ing transcripts (even though not only did my school send them, but Yale sent a postcard back postmarked January 31st saying they received them)!

They they made their decision and DIDN'T EVEN HAVE MY COLLEGE TRANSCRIPTS?!?!!?!?

That's insane!!!!!!!!!!

Edit: Plus, I just called Yale admission today to say "Yeah, you said I didn't send my transcript, but the school got back a receipt from you so I need a personal name" (Unfortunately, they didn't take MY name) and they told me who to send it to. If they already made their decisions, wouldn't they tell me that, since by now it would be useless?

As many four letter words as I can possibly think of!!!!!!!

I am too angry and too upset to do ANYTHING!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I just... punched a wall and horribly hurt my fist. I won't be able to sleep tonight, or do any work, or be useful at all, I have never EVER felt this horribly angry and despaired and depressed! I have no chance at all and it is Yale's fault!!!! This is NOT FAIR!!!!!!!!!

Anisky...I know a lot of schools will send out decision letters for applicants that they are DEFINITELY accepting/rejecting, but will allow other students who have incomplete files to have time to send those materials in. Tulane and Fordham (my safety schools) did that with me and I was still accpeted to both LONG AFTER they sent out the first batch of letters.

I feel the frustration with everyone else. Does anyone ever get the feeling that a lot of these Ivies and top-tiered schools sometimes don't run like "well-oiled-machines"?

Yeah, I didn't think it made sense that they would send me a notice saying they were missing something integral 4 days before they finalized decisions, but I was just so panicked...

Oh, gosh, I am so scared....I so want this..haha, just like everyone else who applied, but still..yikes...I think my stomach just fell into my feet. WAY TO GO, THOMAS..hehe, just kidding, I'm glad I will know soon...

i can relate flipflop..im waiting to hear from georgetown school of nursing and health studies..they said they were gonna have decisions out by the 15th of april..so nervous..i've puke several times today..eeek! this is annoying

flipflop...I haven't seen your posts lately. You still hangin' in there and breathing? I was beginning to worry about you..lol. Have you received any decisions yet?
