Congrats! I read on the fb group of this too-- perhaps about the same girl.
It’s possible however they overfilled their class, ie, out of 2300 they accepted, maybe 1350 or 1400 accepted them. About 20 go on Bridge year. And probably around the same number or more take a gap year. And they’ll probably loose around 50 to summer melt.

the thread “2011 Going off their waitlist”, people have been taken off the list from both Princeton and Penn. FYI

yeah, i got off the waitlist at penn for the wharton school of business just yesterday. i’m not so sure if i’ll go though, considering that i’m enrolled at dartmouth and still waiting for my yale and princeton waitlists.

“Interesting that the only Ivy Leagues who haven’t started calling off their undergrad waitlists are Penn and Princeton.”

Cornell hasn’t made any waitlist offers, and it is highly unlikely they will do so (for the second year in a row).

bentusi is saying that Princeton DID go to waitlist according to the thread:

http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/parents-forum/1129279-2011-going-off-their-waitlist-27.html

Whether it is true or not is up to debate. Guess if others post then there will be more evidence.

Good luck!
