<p>I got rejected with a 3.9 gpa, 1950 SAT and I was the president of student council in my school... I thought it was pretty redicoulouse cuz I thought that those stats were amazing....</p>
<p>Holy crap, that is ridiculous, I think those stats are really good. Mine are 3.45 GPA, 1930 SATs and okay ECs, three teams and some clubs.</p>
<p>fks1989, that's very unfortunate. I'm guessing Northeastern assumed you were using them as a safety. They definitely should've accepted you with those stats.</p>

<p>they also spelled ridiculous "redicoulouse." to the original poster - can you not lie about your statistics? at least be honest for those of us here who haven't heard back. i have MUCH lower stats than you, and i think i'm very qualified for neu. reading that made my heart drop into my stomach and before QNYergrl pointed out that you had different stats, i was really worried.</p>

<p>Well I got in and I have around a 3.6 unweighted GPA, 1800-ish SAT (don't remember exactly), and my Friend had a much higher GPA than me and did better on her SAT's and didn't get in. I was extremely surprised that she got waitlisted. Im not really sure what their biggest criterion for getting in are.</p>
<p>Well I got waitlisted to Neu as well. How does the waitlist work? Do they give you a number, or do they review all the applicant over again? And what percentage of the people on the waitlist get accepted?</p>
