Anyone get "UCSB IMPORTANT NOTICE" Financial Aid Letter? PLEASE HELP!

<p>I got an e-mail just now stating:</p>

<p>*"Subject: Direct Loan Promissory Note</p>

<p>Your immediate attention is requested!</p>

<p>You recently requested a student Direct Loan through your 2010-11 file on the UCSB Financial Aid Office’s website. However, the loan cannot be disbursed until you have completed both a Master Promissory Note (MPN) and Entrance Counseling Interview. Our records indicate you have not yet completed both of these requirements.</p>

<p>You may complete both requirements here: <a href="http://www.studentloans.gov...%22%5B/i%5D"&gt;www.studentloans.gov..."*&lt;/a&gt;&lt;/p>

<p>This is ridiculous since I have document proof that I completed both the interview and the MPN on August 16th!!!</p>

<p>Anyways, I completed them again (just to make sure) as I recently requested a loan on Saturday the 4th, so I am a bit afraid I won't get it in time. </p>

<p>I tried calling but it's such a b.1tch to get through the lines nowadays...not to mention on the Financial Aid site, Tab 7, it lists my Direct LOAN being listed as "Accepted."</p>

<p>Is this an error?</p>

<p>i got the same thing once, but i decided to retake it over and wait 1-2 days to see if they came through.</p>
