<p>What are the chances of being accepted in a waitlisted</p>
<p>i got waitlisted also. im praying</p>
<p>also waitlisted…sucks Ithought I read on another thread that a bunch of waitlisted people were eventually accepted last year. However, I can not remember if that was UCSB or another UC school. I have been reading all the posts and they become like one school…aarrggghh</p>
<p>I got waitlisted. Sigh.</p>
<p>I read somewhere that 400/1,200 students on the waitlist were offered admission. Sucks, because we don’t find out until AFTER May 1!!</p>

<p>My Application
- 3.6 UC GPA, 7 AP Classes and 1 UC approved honors class (16 Semesters of AP/H). 47 A-G classes total. I am in the Top 10% of my class. </p>

<p>so ****ed that i got waitlisted… i live in sb and thought for sure i was good enough to get into ucsb. 3.8uc gpa, 1980 sat 29 act. so far the only uc i’ve gotten into is santa cruz</p>

<p>@Bookworm I don’t necessarily think it’s that class of 2011 is “that good” I think it reflects on the budget cuts and less seats available… so much competition this year + oos being favored.</p>

I have the same UC gpa and ACT score and got waitlisted for ucsb also
only have gotten into ucsc so far. got rejected from ucsd and ucla. I’m still waiting on davis and irvine!!</p>

<p>I applied to UC: LA, B, D, SB, SC, and SD and then Cal Poly SLO and SDSU.
I was rejected from LA, B (premature assumption, seeing as my name didn’t appear last night amongst the craziness), SD, and Cal Poly.
Waitlisted at SDSU and now UCSB.
I’ve only been accepted to UCSC, and I’m waiting for Davis and official Berkeley.
Andddd I have a 3.6 (sad, but for some reason, none of my soph honors classes were waited) with a 32 ACT and a lot of ECs.

<p>I’m assuming because UCSB had a 18.5% yield last year which was under their goal of 20%. Everyone hope for a low yield this year!!!</p>
<p>I was rejected from SLO, UCSD and waitlisted at SB. I have been accepted to UCSC, Humboldt and Pepperdine. I really wanted SB. I don’t know if I should choose UCSC or Pepperdine. They are two totally different schools. But I live in OC so Santa Cruz is so far. This year has been crazy!!!</p>
