Anyone getting messages urging them to apply but you already have?

My kid keeps getting emails, urging her to apply, but she did apply almost a month ago. :joy:

I suspect that either she is in their system twice or they just don’t bother to move applicants to a separate marketing list.

But just in case, anyone else who has already applied keep getting emails asking them to apply?

My S has not applied to RPI but they email ME quite often and today they extended the EA deadline to 12/7 “for him.” But they have not waived their application fee, which is steep at $70. If they waived it I would have him do it.

University of Denver is the one my S already applied to that keeps encouraging him to apply! Interesting that they don’t have an algorithm to change these emails up when they receive an application.

Yes, my son received that email on 12/1 and he’d submitted his app a few days prior.

That’s because they have a marketing agency or internal arm that is focused on maximizing their # of apps. Your kids are hand raisers.

But it doesn’t mean the right hand is connected to the left.

My insurance agency is constantly sending me marketing around renewal time, even though I buy from them.

I joke with them and they write it off as marketing. They have a marketing agency chase people at a timeframe b4 policy expiration…whether they sold it or not.
