Why would an AA hurt you? That’s leotarded.

Um. I never got mine (well, I qualified for it, I just didn’t bother to order it or whatever needed to be done). I still put on my resume I had it. Didn’t do jackshyte tho. =((( Nobody cared I had an AA in LA. I had a few call backs from cool jobs that rejected me, not because I wasn’t educated enough, but because I didn’t have enough experience in the field. And that, mon amis, is what it’s all about…

I’ve gotten some editing jobs with an AA in English. It helps.

nah, im not getting anything coz they’re jus waste of time

I refused to go to my commencement ceremony at my community college and my mom and uncles didn’t understand why I didn’t want to go, and I couldn’t just say “cuz community college is lame!” since they also have sons and daughters that are going to their graduations…in hindsight, I don’t regret it since I’ll be walking with my UCLA cap and gown next week, but this time I’m definitely inviting my family :P

I put a lot of effort into my community college to get where I’m at, so I decided I’m damned well going to enjoy the fruits of those labors. I graduated last night with an AA in Anthro, and while it doesn’t seem to be much to people on this forum, it sure meant a lot to those who matter in my life since it was the first degree anyone in my family has earned, and it sure won’t be the last.

For those of you who received your A.A. Degree and graduated, be proud of yourselves.

@alansada Did community college not give you the opportunities to successfully transfer to a university? Based on your post, it appears that you are degrading the community college system.
