<p>I'm applying to 8 schools RD. Columbia, Cornell Duke, Princeton, UVA, Vanderbilt, Wake Forest and Yale. I've sent my applications to Columbia, UVA, Duke and Princeton. I'm still working on the rest, but I plan on getting them done by November 17th.</p>
<p>I'm sick and tired of this whole process. Anyone else feel the same way?</p>

I'm not sending any of my other apps out until I get a yay/nay decision from Princeton...(which means I'll complete them about a day before the RD deadline)</p>

<p>I actually just started getting that way last night. I think it's just burnout from all the emotional highs and lows. I can't believe that I still have 6 apps to complete. Ugh.</p>
<p>wow SAMMIE you seem to be ahead of all of us here, so props to you. I haven't looked any other apps for a month and a half now...I'm hoping to get them done over thanksgiving but that's still 7 apps...blah</p>
<p>I did my Yale EA app and my Princeton app, since these are my 1-2 schools. I have absolutely no interest or will to do the other 8 but chances are I'm not getting into Yale or Princeton so I unfortunately have to do those 8 other apps. I'm sooo sick of this process too.</p>

<p>I absolutely hate this process! I am constantly measuring myself to everyone else and I feel so inadequate! I just seem determine my self worth with this stuff and I know it'll be a crushing blow when those rejection letters come rolling in.</p>
<p>CC is a crushing blow to many egos. Humble is good I suppose</p>
<p>Bear in mind that CC is most likely not representative of the actual applicant pool....that's something I realized after looking at different stats here compared with the Princeton averages....</p>

<p>I wouldn't wait to get to those other apps. My high school wants us to have all our requests for transcripts, mid year reports and teacher recs in before Thanksgiving. Its a draining process.</p>
<p>CC, stop measuring yourself by other people. Getting admiting to a highly selective school is unpredicticable. Its a lottery. You can be ranked 1 in your class, have a GPA or 4.0, and have good ECs and not get admitted. An assistant dean of admission said something that made a lot of sense. When they put together a class, its like an artist working on a large painting. You don't want too much of the same colors textures. How boring would any university be if you had a class of 1400 clones? </p>
<p>That's the thought that keep hope alive in me.</p>
<p>Oh don't worry Sammie, I'm got it under control. I gave my teacher rec forms and school reports to people back in september. Everything is getting taken care of..except my part =/</p>
