Anyone going to S.Korea for Study Abroad?

Hi,
I'm Korean. lol
Love America, but I'd definitely want to live in Korea for a year to brush up on my Korean skills and live a life of Korean.
I'm planning on becoming a business major as an undergrad, so I'm looking for admission to Yonsei university. So, does anyone have any experience that they want to share? Yonsei has great rep among Koreans, but do international students get the same respect?

Thanks a lot!

i guess this isn't a great place to ask about Korean universities. lol

You might wanna goto Soompi.com because they talk about korean study abroads over there. Yonsei's a great place to be (my father's alma mater) because apparently they really appreciate their international students. my friends sister went a year back too and she had a great time :D Just remember Koreans dont really tend to like outsiders in general (unless you aren't asian. but I'm guessing you are korean american so...) so dont try to stick out I guess too much? (unless that's the thing you enjoy)

thanks a lot! uyulove

hey so when are you going to study in korea..i was thinking about study abroad at yonsei too but i'm not going to get to go until probably year 2009-2010 school year..i'll be a junior...i was wondering do you think they allow juniors?

Has anyone experienced at Yonsei University???
I’m not sure if i should go there, cuz… I’m a Korean American, and I’m super fluent in Korean.
But, the problem is. I heard if your planning to get a job in South Korea, and live there, its better to go somewhere else, cuz Yonsei is a really competitive school.
I thought it’s really easy there, cuz if ur fluent in english, you should be 100 times better at writing and speaking than any other Koreans at Yonsei.

I have GPA like… 3.0 and stuff so.
