<p>Hey guys i want to attend summer at USC this year. I want to take the 2-week course in native healing. Is anyone else planning on applying? How selective is this program? Is it worth it? Fun?. Thanks, also anyone know what i should discuss in my essay? I am a freshman in all honors classes with a 3.7 GPA.</p>
<p>My son went last summer, he auditioned for the 4-week jazz/studio guitar program. He is a very gifted player, some of the other kids were just OK. It was a REAL USC class, very intense, but he had kids from all over the WORLD in there and made great friendships. The coordinator, Sonny, is all over it, very helpful. However, more than once we heard how “just because you take a summer class here, it does not mean you will get in as an undergraduate”. By the way, my son decided NOT to major in music, but chemistry! He has applied to USC, still waiting.</p>
