Ok -- a stupid question...and a google search yielded too many varying answers.

What is the difference between a webpage and a hubpage? My impression is that a webpage is, well, a website as I know it. Am I right in assuming that a hubpage is a single, central page that has links to other things like blog, website, email, facebook, etc?

I guess a hub page is basically the homepage of a website…but I noticed that a lot of people have “homepages” that have links to wordpress, flickr, and other sites that aren’t “theirs”

What are they using to create that sort of home page?

I would imagine they’re using a software like wordpress, and have RSS bots that automatically crawl RSS feeds that they put into the bot, and automatically have those things published onto their website. Or they could manually be putting in those links.
