I was waitlisted at cooper for engi,
they picked no one...
sigh i applied as a transfer this year

ok i have a question.. except its not about the topic..
so basically.. you get free tuition.. so how much do you actually have to pay in total per year?
thanks..

like 18k first year if you live in dorm. Then 5k? rest + rent of an apartment for the rest of the time.

Can people who got accepted OR rejected to the arch school show me their stats too please?
It would be so tremendously helpful.
Thanks :)

I got an email saying that they wanted me to call them to talk to me about my application. I was waitlisted originally. Do you think this means they might want to take me off the waitlist?

I was accepted to Cooper's art school. Out of curiosity..does anybody know how seriously the admissions counselors consider the grades of those applying for art, particularly in comparison to the grades of those applying for engineering? What are the average GPA/SATs for accepted art students?

As for my stats..
GPA: 3.85 (I don't know if this is weighted or not)
SATs: 2080 (680 M, CR 680, W 720)
SAT IIs: 730 in US History, 620 in Literature
Rank: 12/121

Copy from their website.

How much does it really cost to attend The Cooper Union?

Tuition is listed at $31,500 per year. Every student receives a full tuition scholarship and is not responsible for tuition-related costs.

Cooper Union students are responsible for living and miscellaneous expenses. These include mandatory student fees (totaling $1,550 per year), room and board (about $13,000 per year), books and supplies (about $1,000-1,800 per year), and general living expenses (about $2,300 per year), totaling approximately $18,000 per year. In addition, international students are assessed a $1,700/year filing fee. All students must prove medical insurance coverage or participate in our medical insurance plan for a health services fee of $1,709/year.
