I was just wondering if anyone got their notice about UCF after UF released its status on friday because i applied back in early December but still havnt heard anything from them yet which kinda makes me anxious...Does anybody know when i should find out about this? Thanks.

I just got accepted YESTERDAY! I was freaking out.
I was a little bit worried, considering that I applied so late.
(January 25)

Good luck! I hope you get accepted!

Have you checked to see that everything is in your file at admissions? Last year my son had this trouble and we had to send his transcripts 3 times. I have heard that they "lose" a lot of items. Just double check.

oh congrads to you karlea!
what is your stats? would you mind sharing so i know where i stand?
oh yea and i did check it with them. they have everything... which makes me really nervous :/

My d had all her stuff in by EO January (waiting on grades to post to get the transcript mailed). Her notice was on-line today, so expecting snail mail this week. She's 1120 SAT/27 ACT, out of state, no legacy or anything such as that. Good luck!

Karlea and CrimsonMom, were either of you deferred and now accepted?

My S was accepted to begin summer session. It was online today. He is also OOS :)

My D is OOS and starting Summer B :)

crimsonmom: GPA?

if you got accepted, can you post your stats please? just so i know where i stand...and do you guys think i should call the admission office and ask about my status? because i'm getting really nervous hearing people getting accepted and i have no idea about mine whether i got deferred or not. i dont know anything so it's kinda frustrated...

I was accepted about 5 days ago and I am excited to attend UCF!

My son who was rejected UF, is seriously considering UCF, Summer B. How many of you are OOS. Are your kids going to bring cars freshmen year? Thanks.....

I am OOS (North Carolina) and I will bring my car to UCF.

It is a BIG help to have a car here. If you get really involved with a big, dynamic organization on campus (a fraternity/sorority, LEAD Scholars) you'll probably make enough friends that you won't need to worry about it so much, but otherwise, you can feel kind of left out because you won't have an easy time making friends quickly enough to be able to survive without a car (shopping, etc.).

OOS LEAD Scholar here.

My account on my.ucf.edu says that my student account password will be expired in 10 days and i still havnt heard anything from UCF yet! Anyone in my situation? and what should i do?...:(

all you have to do is reset your password :) they wont do anything to your account

You just need to reset it when it expires. It will give you the option to do that right after it tells you its has expired. You actually might be able to reset it prior to it expiring.

You need to reset your password. That's no problem for you, just follow the prompts for resetting the password. Everyone has to do that periodically. My S, who likes us to have access to his myucf because we pay his housing and sometimes he likes me to help him out with scheduling situations, have a numerical/word combination that we switch back and forth. This allows us both to remember what the "new" password is every time we have to reset. Has worked well the past year and a half. As far as not having heard from UCF yet, I can't help you with that. Other than emailing admissions and asking them if all of your stuff has been received, not sure what else you can do but wait. I'm sure it's very frustrating for you; I'm sorry.

If I were you FLstudent09 I would maybe try getting together with your guidance counselor or CAP advisor if your school has one and have them call UCF's admissions office. That way you can figure out if there is anything wrong. My friend kept getting her transcripts lost and when we called it turns out there was some error with the program that sends it. Good luck to you though! I'm sure if you just wait a bit longer you'll get in. I applied in December and was accepted in mid January, my stats are 5.162 weighted GPA (although it was 4.93 on the transcript they got) and 1420 SAT, hopefully I get accepted into the Honors College :)

THANK YOU EVERYONE!!!
well i reset my password so i am able to access my account now but i still havnt heard anything back from UCF yet. This is so nerve racking and i am so anxious because i called them up but they said that all i can do is wait and i will probably find out this month (march). anyone else still in my situation? i know there is nothing much that i can do but wait...
