what majors did you guys applied to? i don’t get it, they said pharmacy program acceptances come out sometime starting now… I applied to a different major in the school of pharmacy and health sciences and haven’t heard anything yet and isn’t it suppose to be rolling? I guess that means i’m going to be counted as the pharmacy program?

My son accepted with 21,000 per year merit. 1980 SAT, 3.8/4.1 GPA, top 2%. Submitted applications early December.

I got 15,000 a year with 1700 SAT and 3.6 GPA

I’m waiting on my decision as well. I applied right before the Dec. 1st deadline so I’m guessing it’s on the way. St. John’s was my safety but now it’s starting to look like my top choice!

D applied right before the 12/1 deadline as well. Received her acceptance to Tobin last week. 21K per year on 1860 SAT, 3.6 GPA for 12 honors, 5 AP’s and 5 SUNY early admits. Great EC’s with lots of leadership roles. Was also her safety school but after a campus visit and the Open House St.J’s jumped passed all of her ‘match’ schools. Campus had a great feel to it, program options and selections look excellent. Only her ‘dream’ school is ahead now.

Hi, Thank you all for your comments. St. John’s University follows a rolling admissions schedule. We do not have an early action deadline. If you would like to discuss the status of your application please feel free to email me at gottlij1@stjohns.edu. I would be happy to go over your file. Thanks, Janeale Gottlieb-George, Social Media Admission Counselor.

The fee waived application my D received in the mail after visiting the campus had a ‘return by 12/1 for immediate consideration’ date on it. Not a deadline, sorry for the confusion.

We will ask for more merit aid—his SAT grades in Jan went up to 2200! Good Luck all!

I was accepted on Christmas Eve (what an awesome Christmas surprise, right?!) with a $12k scholarship per year. I applied towards the middle of September with the special app that was mentioned before.

I applied through an on sight application, where ST. johns came to my school, and told people if they got in or not on the spot

I received my acceptance packet over Christmas break.

My son got accepted to the physical science/pre engineering program. Applied with the free application. His sat total was 1630, ACT 21. Received a total of $16,500 in SJU Grants, not including Pell/Tap.
