Anyone got decisions from William & Mary???

It's reallyyyyyyyy weird I don't find something like an official threads for W&M, nobody applied to it? or it's not a transfer-friendly college?

Also if any of you got decision from Brandeis already, please share some info here. You guys are the best !!!

I found out I was accepted by e-mail on the 16th, and I received my package in the mail today. I think William & Mary is relatively transfer friendly since they accept about 44% of applicants although they do give preference to Virginians.

Are you in-state transfer? Well I think it’s really hard for me to get in W&M as an international transfer abroad.

I’m an out-of-state CC transfer.

I got in by e-mail on Monday night. Haven’t gotten anything in the mail yet, but it’s hopefully soon to arrive. I’m an out-of-state transfer from a private liberal arts school. I know that on the W&M discussion boards, they said that they were only giving admissions out right now to really strong candidates or those that got their applications in very early. Everyone else will be told around the end of April/beginning of May.

That does make sense! I don’t have a solid gpa for freshman year which I consider the biggest and only disadvantage that would bring me down. To be honest, I don’t think I have a shot T T

Penny2012: I saw your question regarding whether W&M is transfer friendly since you couldn’t find a transfer thread. I was looking for one too and happened to find one for the fall of 2011 on CC…William & Mary Fall 2011 Transfer Thread. Also, on the W&M website, it states that in fall of 2007 about 14% of the admitted students were transfers and that the number continues to rise each year. Not sure what that means for fall of 2012. Also read that the college takes a greater percentage of OOS students as transfer students than it does for freshman admits but it still leans toward in state.
Good luck to you.
