Came close to applying to the College of Business, but went in undecided thinking that I may change to BioChemistry. If Biochem falls through, I'll transfer into Business-Accounting.

well, how competitive is it?

The College of Business is fairly competitive. Business is just a little less compettive than their renowned Engineering School. Check their site for ACT/SAT and Class Rank Percentages. I'm pretty sure the 25 percent mark is 27 ACT and 86 PErcent Class RAnk

Jerod

how about 1300 on SAT1? I also sent my SAT2 scores, which are 720 Math1c and 660 writing although they do not require lol

what's 1300 on ACT??

A 1300 on the SAT is equivalent to a 29-30 on the ACT according to their conversion factor. I don't even think they will look at your SAT II Scores. What is your Class Rank Percentage/GPA ?

Jerod

I have some horrible GPA...
though it is an upward trend and have some college credits and my HS is one of the top five...

Class Rank is a big factor for admitting students. Depending on how bad it is, will determine whether not you are admitted.

Regards,

Jerod

we do not rank lol and even if we do, we can omit it from our transcript

by the way here are my horrible GPAs

2.4 frosh
3.2 sophomore
3.7 junior
3.633 senior year q1 grades

A- : Business Calculus at New York University: Stern School of Business
and currently two college courses are in the progress of completion

i have, in my opinion, outstanding ECs....and lots of hours well over 1,500

Your cummulative GPA would average out to be a 3.1. UIUC doesn't take any consideration towards your senior grades, or EC's really. They really have no bearing in the admissions process. What it boils down to is what your Class Percentage Rank, if your school ranks. The NYU Class will look good, though, in my opinion.
