<p>theres a good chance im attending ucsd next year; is it really as bad as people say? not that i have high (or any) standards, but just curious cause even looking during class and stuff makes a difference. although perhaps i'd be able to focus in class for the first time in a while..</p>

<p>No, from what I've seen, Triton Eye is just stupid. Every college has their share of hot girls and not so hot. UCSD is no different. To think that many ugly girls tend to matriculate to UCSD is ridiculous. Trust me, there are plenty of hot girls around. For anyone who claims to have the Triton Eye, you're either expecting too much or are just hooked on porn for way too long.</p>

<p>i'll just say that nowhere else have i seen so many ugly people, but at the same time, never have i seen so many hot people. i think it's just because people aren't used to being around thousands of people ALL our age. when you're at home you see young and old but here you just see your own age group.</p>

<p>there are a lot of ugly chicks but there are a couple that are okay. and yes, it is as advertised. some asian girls here are okay though, but it's so far and between that all the hot ones are already taken.</p>

<p>If you have worries about UCSD, Triton Eye should be the last of them. It's perhaps the only problem that is overblown.</p>

<p>I think there's a correlation between how stringent a school's admission process is and the looks of the student body.</p>

The greater the "prestige" a school has, the uglier the student body.
