Anyone gotten into Indiana University yet?

Petition in January/February, record applicants so they are getting tougher on petition given likely close to 2000 DAs this year

@DG

Will they take no petitions (as in we have max class size, we will not even review your petition), or will they still look at it case by case? Would I still have a chance with a 3.4 UW (my school doesn’t weight but I am listing a 3.67 weighted on the petition) and a 1580 SAT?

Not sure. I do know they expect record DAs. They had record last year at over 1800

Just FYI - Got into Kelley today…notices are going out, heard from IU Bloomington a few weeks go…and 11k Deans scholarship OOS, hopefully more merit on way…

@DG Congrats! How did you hear? Email or snail mail?

My son just heard from Kelley via email as well. Congrats @DG.

Thanks. Now need to fill SSA forms. Kelley was email today. Acceptance to IU three weeks ago and in writing with scholarship info last week.

For Direct Admit, does Kelley go in order of application date or high stats to lower stats?

I got DA to Honors and Kelley with 10k Deans scholarship OOS - found out today in crimson envelope but got Kelley email yesterday. Does anyone know the average awards people get from the SSA?

@xgamesmode, Congrats! What are your stats?

My son was accepted into IU (Out of state)

SAT: > 1500
GPA: 4.5/4

He’s auto admit to Kelley. Congrats!

"If you are admitted to IU, you will become a Direct Admit to the Bloomington Kelley School of Business for fall 2020 if you met all criteria below and have a completed IU application (with all application materials submitted) by November 1:

Indicated one of Kelley’s business majors as your intended major.
Earned the required test score*:
a composite ACT score of 30, or
an SAT score of 1370 (Evidence-Based Reading & Writing and Math).
Earned a cumulative GPA of 3.8 on a 4.0 scale in high school. We will use the highest GPA that is sent to IU Admissions from your official high school transcript. In most cases this is the weighted GPA."

@socaldad2002 Ok. Thank you very much for this information.

Crimson envelope last week
Auto admit Kelley
3.92 UW/4.3 W - 35 ACT
11k deans
Applied late august

does the accept status happen first on the web site prior to the email going out if you catch it early… or is it an email that tells you first then you check or can you have an acceptance prior to them emailing you to alert you?

Yes, web first.

@DG someone said it only happens on Mondays the decisions?

Got in (Congrats Portal)

When will I get scholarship info?

@ucquestionta Wow!! Congrats!! When did you submit your app? IU is one of my top schools – I submitted 10/23, but haven’t heard anything yet. Fingers crossed!

I submitted app 9/29 but it was only complete 10/16

My stats are pretty high though, so you might have to wait a little to get a result. Waiting on Kelley Petition now.
