Has anyone got a letter from Colby college?(not email, real letter)
I come from China, and I got a paper letter sent by Colby college to my school. The content has nothing special but similar ads like any others in Email, but it was delivered by post and sent straight to me, with my name on it. I didin’t add Colby College to my college list in Common App tho.
Is the letter mean anything? Or it’s just a special ads given to everyone. If it means that Colby College want me to apply then I’ll cuz it looks like the chance is big, but if it’s an ads then I won’t apply.
Colleges typically send ads to students in the mail without it being personal: they generally send them out after you have taken the SAT or ACT to get more people to apply. If Colby looks like a school you would like to go to though, it might still be worth applying to.
