Just wondering how it looks...

The handwritten message reads "Hope you'll join us!" although you can tell he's running out of ink. ;)

Awww.... I got chills when I read it...

Look HERE for a good picture of the admissions certificate:

i hate how his little note sucks so much. i couldn't read his note or his signature so i just assumed it said something nice... its definitely not as good as Yale's or Princeton's hand-written signature/notes.... and i still wonder why im coming here....

Did you get a letter from your admissions rep? That would have had a handwritten message. At least mine did.

The Yale acceptance letter was your typical computer signature... maybe I should have decided on Harvard instead.... ;)

Can you scan the post card that says on which conditions they can withdraw your application?

Also can you scan the School Report Form.

What do you need those things for?

stele32: Yes. I received a personal note from my admissions officer.

Hey, Byerly, I think you posted the wrong link...

cause I wanted to know how it looks like

my brothers friend had his admission rescinded from Princeton because he had a relaxing senior year..

crimson4me: The admissions certificate is in the top right hand corner.

GoCollege: Well, I had to send in the post card to them, so I don't have that. I'm sure you can find the conditions under which they'll rescind your admission somewhere on the Harvard website. Are you asking for the School Report Form that you send in when you apply, or are you talking about the Final School Report?

They probably ask the counselor to check something if there are any Ds or Fs.

"Relaxing" is probably an understatement... it takes quite a bit to get rescinded.

stele32: I am asking if the Final School Report Form is similar to the common application School Report Form. Are they similar or no? Your conselour basically sent a full completed transcript correct?

thinkjose1: he basically droped some courses and was a normal student.. They didnt like it and rescinded.

oh, right, sorry - I didn't notice that. :)

They're sort of similar, but the Final Report is a lot shorter (one page only), and it's printed on green paper.

Yeah, my admissions officer sent me a big parcel of stuff and a long note...

As an international student doing A-Levels, my final school report seems somewhat pointless, but I sent it in anyway (my school basically just signed it, not having transcripts or grades...)

thanks for uploading the image

It is good to know all this stuff way ahead

Its much simpler than the collegeboard one

LOL. The signature and short "Hope you join us" looks like it was written by a 4-year-old.

Let's see you sign 1600+ letters... plus I really do think he was running out of ink when he signed mine.
