thank you so much new domer

Hello guys,

I am considering applying to Notre Dame as a transfer for Fall 2012.
I am fairly excited about the school but I have questions about the math department. I am personally interested in the field of biomatheamtics and saw that ND offered some classes in that which is pretty good. However, I wonder how is the department overall?
I am applying to other schools with good math department but I really like Notre Dame so I would like to know how it compares, mostly to University of Michigan.

Any insights from students in the department or opinions about it will be great !

Thanks

I was invited to attend the Spring Visitation, does that mean I’m accepted?

And just wondering… is the school scary, in any way? Ghosts? Creepy stuff? I’m a cannot handle scary movies, so I’m kind of terrified of any negative experiences I might get there… how is the atmosphere? Environment? Is it welcoming?

Oh, also, how are their medical/science majors and programs?

Cathereeene, rumors of ghost stories at ND have been around forever. The most popular one is that the ghost of George Gipp a.k.a. “the Gipper” haunts Washington Hall. I have also heard that Father Sorin haunts the administration bldg (the Dome). I think they are “friendly” ghosts haha.

Hi guys~

I got accepted by RD this yr and I’m planning in majoring in business majors. As an international student, I want to ask will there be a lot of job opportunities for students like me after graduating from ND?? I prefer to work in the States after graduation though I can also see myself back to my own country too.

THX~:)
