I woke up today feeling horrible. I had drank a tiny bit of alcohol (and at 6 pm too, only with dinner) the night before, so at first I assumed it was a hangover even though I had drank tons of water. On the way to and from school, I thought it was just car sickness that made me feel so nauseous.

But all the sudden at 5pm or so I got really, really sick. I felt a little better afterwards, but the same thing after 2 hours. And then 1. Then 30 minutes, every 15, and now it's down to every 10 minutes. This has been going on since 5, so for about 6 hours! And to be quite honest, you'd think it would stop, because it's not like there is anything left (which somehow just makes it more painful).

I'm sorry if this is TMI, but really did not know where to get help or who to ask. I've never felt like this before, so don't even know if it is normal. Luckily I don't have a headache or anything, just extreme nausea and horrible stomach pains. Should I go to the emergency room? Or just slowly die until it hopefully gets better?

I’ve never heard of Theraflu, I googled it and i’ll have to see if I can pick it up tomorrow. I can’t drink any water though, anything that goes down just comes right back up immediately. Or every 10-15 minutes even if I don’t try to eat/drink anything.

The stomach pain is pretty much everywhere I think it’s just the stomach acid, it just feels like it’s burning away at the inside of my stomach. Everything just aches. I know later on I’ll feel better, but god does it suck when it’s actually happening.

Anything with ginger in it can help to settle an upset stomach. But don’t fool around with this. Whatever it is could be serious, and I didn’t see any of us who have replied mentioning our MD.

Thanks for all of the advice and kind words. If my stomach doesn’t settle down by morning, I’ll probably find someone to drag me to a hospital or clinic. Thanks for the advice on food, too, i’ll probably just stick with crackers and soup tomorrow. Think baked potato soup and oyster crackers is taking it too far? Might just have to stick with the bland old chicken noodle soup.

It’s such a shame because there is tons of fun stuff going on tonight… Why couldn’t this happen while nothing good was going on?!
