Taking both of these at the same time to get rid of two humanities. Hard, easy, in between?
Have you looked up the prof’s on RateMyProfessor? That would probably give you a good indication of what you’re getting into.
I took REL 105 and it wasn’t worth the effort. Tons of reading and harsh grading on papers. However, the non-honors course is probably fine if the professor is good.
Springy do you mind telling me your prof in that class?
I had Matthew Bagger. Honestly I loved the topics–I even considered a Religious Studies minor earlier in my college career–but there was 50 pages of dense reading every class, which was hard to juggle with organic chemistry & lab. I have met several of the other Religious Studies professors though, and they seem like great people. If you’re interested in the anthropological study of religion and the professor has good reviews on RateMyProfessor, you’ll probably enjoy the classes.
