anyone have thoughts on the SU iSchool?

My son is considering adding a 2nd major in iSchool. Looks like good career options

The site says it's a small school, but how small?

No firm "department" lines. Seems to be quite collaborative. Facilities recently renovated, and on-line tours look good. Plan on visiting this wknd (skipped parents wknd).

Hi BillysDad,

I am a junior in the iSchool, and I came to Syracuse almost specifically for it. There’s so much I could say… the faculty AND staff are generally absolutely fantastic (and awesome all around), and the small-ness can give a sense of community. I don’t know stats on how small it is, but I’m sure you can get a specific answer by emailing Julie, the undergraduate recruitment director ([Contact Information - iSchool - Syracuse University](http://ischool.syr.edu/contact/contact_info.aspx)). In terms of course enrollment, after the intro IST course, classes are generally around 15-30 students. It’s nice.

Thank Jon. SU tomorrow, just before the storm hits.
