I'm not sure if I made the right choice for next year and I cant really stop thinking about it. I guess I kinda think that I might be better off if I had gone with another option. Theres nothing I can really do about it now, but anyone else feeling the same way?

Don’t worry, Lawrenceville is an amazing school and you will have a great time there. I bet everyone has regrets, but once you get there, you will know you made the right decision. Good luck next year!!

At a student panel on revisit day at Exeter, one of the parents asked the kids how they knew they had made the right choice. One girl said, “Halfway through my first Latin class.” I’m sure you’ll feel the same.

Remember, it’s not as if students can only be happy at ONE school.

I feel the same exact way. I was deciding whether NMH or St. Marks…and I chose St. Mark’s… And I’m starting to regret the decision a little. But, I know in the end I’ll be happy at St. Marks :)

I feel the same way sometimes, wondering if my reasons for choosing Peddie were sufficient, wondering if Exeter really would have given me more opportunities.
However, the school you choose is the school for you, regardless, and my brother put it best when he said to devote your energy to making the most of your boarding school experience, rather than moping.

never any regrets at lville

That’s funny. My daughter was visiting her BS on revisit day and halfway through her Latin class was when she knew for sure she was picking the right school.

Everyone has jitters, and second thoughts. But I’m betting the “universe” and “fate” put you in the perfect place for you. Karma is often wise.

haha prepv.

I knew I was right the entire application process, and that summer, and when I met my English class, and when I won a volleyball game, and blah blah blah. It wasn’t until things were actually tough when I started doubting myself.
A year has passed, and more, since I accepted at Choate, and I still have my moments of doubt, and my times of fervent devotion. It happens to the best, and worst, of us.

I go to Lawrenceville and I can say that I don’t regret my choice at all. Now everyone has their own reasons in picking schools, and the right school for me may not be the right school for you.

Since you have made your choice already you shouldn’t doubt; you obviously had reasons in picking Lawrenceville and you should believe in those reasons. Just enjoy the school and all the potential it has to offer.

im actually getting really excited about lville, its gonna be really good :)

I retract what I posted a few months ago. I’m actually really excited about St. Mark’s :D
