I’m in.

I assume that the offer letter that is linked to on the right side of the portal mentions the honors college as well.

Also, I found this paragraph:
"Step 4: Review your Financial Aid Award Notifications

Financial aid award notifications are sent to students after they have been accepted to the university. The first financial aid award notification will be mailed to your permanent address on file and be available as a PDF on the Discover Drexel Portal. Any subsequent financial aid notification will be available as a PDF on the Discover Drexel Portal only."

on this web page: http://www.drexel.edu/drexelcentral/finaid/prospective-students/1516_fresh_uscitizens/

So I am wondering, if it is not up on the portal yet, has the FA info actually been mailed out or are they pending? Did anyone call their FA office to ask about that?

Accepted into the Music Industry program and Pennoni Honors College!!! So excited!

Got accepted! Awaiting financial aid.

They sent an email to my son, part reads:

“To see your financial aid status, please check Discover Drexel over the next few days.”

so I guess we don’t have to wait for the mail.

Holy smokes - they did put up the budget on the FA tab (with no aid showing):
Budget Component Amount
Tuition and Fees: $48,791.00
Textbooks: $1,884.00
Supplies: $670.00
Room and Board: $14,367.00
Transportation: $1,764.00
Personal Expenses: $2,514.00
Total Cost of Attendence: $69,990.00

The other college my son got into had a similar, almost $5,000 increase in cost (and is still about $5,000 less overall)

HOLY SMOKES, @rhandco. $70k for school!!! We can not even open Drexel website now. Something is wrong with it.

We saw my son’s acceptance to the business school last night. 1200/1800 SAT, 3.3 unweighted GPA.

S was accepted to Bachelors and Masters for Chemical Eng and also the Pennoni Honors College… 31 ACT…

Maybe FA info is going up :)

@ntardiff Congrats! I knew you’d make it!! If you’re interested in Northeastern keep in contact with them to show interest, you probably have a good shot there too!

I got accepted to Penn State University Park and Temple University for Computer Science and Engineering, I don’t quite understand why I did not make it to Drexel.

Now that my Admission Type has changed to Regular Decision, are there any chances that I might actually get accepted?

I’m sure you have a decent chance, I do not know the stats but most colleges feel free to reject students who they don’t want to take a second look at.

Someone let me know when they send out scholarship info :)

My d was accepted to nursing 5 years BSN

Drexel Scholarships : Log into your Discover Drexel Portal, click Financial Award top left, then scroll down to the Financial Aid Document and open your Award Letter

yes, I see that now. Still remaining cost is double than our state university. Too bad.
