Anyone hear back for the Global Liberal Studies Program?

I have a feeling it's for RD. 100+ applicants to any particular major is a bit lofty, except maybe in Tisch.

yeah but it's basically a school, not just a major

did any of you write an additional essay for the program?
i was unaware about it i just figured it out a couple days ago on the website, so i am bit nervous.

Good point. Well, it doesn't really matter either way - we're either in or out! (Hopefully the latter). I'm going to bed. Hopefully I won't think about it too much! Talk to you guys tomorrow! Good luck!!!

Yeah, I went on the NYU website and saw that there's a special requirement for GLS - personal essay.

Haha, I was so close to quitting! Ok real quick - as it turns out they added that requirement a little late the admissions process so it will only matter for RD applicants. If you sent it in for ED, it doesn't give you any advantage over anyone who didn't. I found that webpage too, freaked out (because I hadn't done the essay) and my counselor called and cleared things up.

So in short, if you did it - great! If not, it doesn't matter.

NOW I'm going to bed :)

Yesss!!!!!

!!!!!!!!!!!! :d:d:d:d

Congrats! :) Do you mind posting your stats?
