Anyone hear back from Cal Poly Pomona yet? (Fall 2017)

I applied November 2nd, sat scores received December 16th.

Has anyone heard back? And what are my chances of getting in I’m freaking out.

Out of high school
Major: Aerospce Engr. Alternate is Biology
Sat out of 1600: 1380
CSU GPA weighted: 3.76 (Uw 3.65)
CSU eligibility index: 4388
Local area?: in state, 20 miles away

Bump

I haven’t heard back either… 4370 Eligibility Index. I called them yesterday and they said acceptances are still interested out until April.

@icurryx3 Ugh this is so stressing

@icurryx3 did they say all admissions will be out by april or by the end of april?
also, did you receive an email regarding elm/ept testing? i have not, im guessing bc i do meet the minimum cut off, but it seems other people have

@abfern They said all admissions will be out by latest April. I received the e-mail from CSULB but nothing from Pomona. I’m assuming only one Cal State needs to send it but not sure.

@icurryx3 same I got it from CSULB I’m certain I don’t need to take it for anywhere else, didn’t get it from poly tho

I got emails from all the cal states I applied to (all of which I was accepted) about the placement test (and all of which I was exempted)

@Mirakledba @icurryx3 I think it’s because our decisions for Cal Poly Pomona haven’t been made clear yet so I wouldn’t sweat it  All you need is one email anyway so whatever CSULB said about your ELM/EPT status is the same requirement for all colleges you applied to. Doesn’t matter if CPP sent you an email

i called them today. The guy said they release admissions in waves and they already started but the bulk are in April so we’re good.

BUT WE AREN’T GOOD THO, WE’RE DYING HERE

True…

I hope they come out with admissions soon because if I go to SJSU, I need to plan for housing and their deadlines are early April

When do they usually send their acceptance letters to Engineering applicants?

Last year, engineering transfers got decisions Mar 22. The year before that, Mar 13.

Transfers? That doesn’t make sense. We are undergrad

@Mirakledba what? Transfers are considered undergrad.

@zygote I mean like out of high school not a transfer cause transfers should here back may…

@Mirakledba “Transfers” are students transferring from a 2-year community college (or sometimes a 4-year) into Cal Poly as 3rd year undergrads. You must be thinking of graduate students going on to their masters degree.

@lankysequoia no haha I know what transfers are I just thought they hear back may
