My D had her RD application complete mid-December. We were told she would hear by this week - still nothing. Has anyone who applied RD heard back yet?

Another question, previous poster said D was a EA (or ED) and was going to hear about financial aid by mid-March. Does anyone know if they'll be notifiying all applicants or EA,ED first, then RD?

My S got his acceptance letter on Thursday. I had called the Admissions Office to see if they were mailing on March 1st as they had said at our Campus visit the week before, and was told that “acceptance letters would be mailed over the next couple of weeks”.
She said they would NOT all be going out on the same day, whcih I thought was odd.

Are rejections and wait lists out too? Or just acceptances? When I called they said nothing was mailed yet, however, it does look like they do it in clumps if you look at posts from prior years. I’m sure its a daunting task for an admissions office. For those accepted - the traditional big envelope?

I received my acceptance letter on Wednesday, March 2nd. I live about 40 minutes away from Stonehill. At the Skyhawk Welcome Day on March 4th, we were told that financial aid letters will be sent the week of the 21st to the 25th.

My daughter received her financial aid package today from both Stonehill and Emmanuel. Both are good and I will manage- Emmanuel gave more merit. First choice is NEU but wait listed. Between the two academically I feel Stonehill is a better fit. Any insight from someone on this?
Thanks,

My son applied RD to Stonehill based on website and reviews. Got accepted with merit this past week. I have done research on school and mostly good feedback and seems school has good rep in Mass area. I see that the larger majority of kids there are from Mass. RI and other New England area. We are in NYC area and son would likely return here after school. At this point I am not trying to find the school with best reputation as much as the right fit and school that he would grow much as a person. He is going to start a business major but honestly, he is not committed to that and could end up doing something different. Therefore, wanted to get up and see Stonehill.
Any and all feedback on Stonehill is appreciated.

Stonehill is selective for applicants, Emmanuel is not. Stonehill is a gorgeous campus, but in the middle of nowhere, Emmanuel is in the heart of the city. Stonehill does not have an accredited business program. That may/may not be important to you. I think it only comes into play if you apply for grad school. Employers never ask this question on an interview. Employment prospects for new grads in the Boston area are very competitive due to the number of colleges turning out grads.

Been in touch with dean of business dept. In the midst of accreditation with check in sept. She felt confident. Dean of admissions was saying 99.9% done deal
