I got an email at 9:55 last night saying I got in!!!

hi guys! i know your position bc i was in it just last year and i def wouldn’t rely on a backdoor method like seeing if you can pay your deposit. i thought for sure i was rejected but a few days later i got an e-mail saying i was accepted and then two days after that came the wonderful green envelope! it wasn’t until a day after getting the green envelope that i could actually pay my deposit so don’t give up hope! good luck guys! i LOVE binghamton! coming here is the greatest decision i made and i know that every other incoming student will love it here too!

All decisions for early action will be sent out by today January 15th. Either by mail, email or both.

I thought I applied for early action but I did not get an email about my status yet. I checked my Admissions Status and looked under Admission Type which says FR EOP no prev coll cred. I applied for early action through the common app and it says deadline for EA was Nov. 15; there is even the green check showing that I did apply for early action. I am freaking out here!!! Does FR EOP no prev coll cred mean I did not apply for early action?!?

@andy456 dont look at admission type. look at ‘decision’ ( I think).

look at all the details on your status. one might say deferred to RD or Accepted… or something.

look again

@hftmrock

the thing is…i dont think they acknowledged me as an EA application and there are no categories for Application Status: and Decision:

You need to apply regular decision for EOP.

@oldmom4896

ahhhh thank you so much!!!

Accepted! Harpur class of 2018

My daughter missed the early action deadline by 2 days. She was listed as RD…got her acceptance today. I was very surprised since we did not get an email. Watson. We are out of state.

I don’t remember ever, putting early action or regular decision, but I got accepted on January 20th and got the letter on my birthday! Best present ever!
