vandyhopeful, yuo rock, congrats on your acceptance and full ride
what were your stats that you got in on?
im still waiting here in PA for any letter, im so nervous, i think itll come tomorrow if they mailed them all on tuesday

good luck to all. Im up north in NJ and anxiously awaiting my vandy letter. I thought it was gonna come today (thursday) and practically had a panic attack in calculus. I was very dissapointed when my mom txted me and told me it wasnt there. i think it will be there tomorrow if they were infact mailed on tuesday. if it doesnt come tomorrow i honestly dont think i can possibly wait another day!!!!!

I'm so anxious! still waiting over here in OR, but it should be here tomorrow or the day after... I was walking my dog and saw the mail truck drive right up to our mailbox o_o It was scary. I walked over really slowly once they drove away, took a deep breath, and opened the mailbox. Imagine my disappointment when it wasn't there yet :( Oh well, I was sort of relieved too xD Congratulations to everyone who's gotten in, and good luck to everyone else waiting for a letter!

i got in with a huge grant

Congrats iojiojjjh! I hope your as happy as I am. THANK YOU, everyone. Seriously.. how supportive and genuinely amazing everyone is still amazes me. I couldn't be happier, and I know a lot of letters are going to be recieved today, so good luck! I want to hear about all of you getting in. Omg, wow. It's hard to breathe sometimes.

For those of you wondering, my letter was regular sized, but I kinda freaked out when it was a little bit thick (not crazy thick though), but didn't get my hopes up. (I imagined pages and pages of them telling me exactly why I wasn't good enough ;).. lol) and I could see a sort of blue paper through the envelope, which turned out to be the letter explaining the fin aid. It was about 5 or 6 pieces of paper, and well... no need to say anymore, the rest of you will be finding out soon enough!! :D For those of you wanting to know my stats, I will post them up later if you like (sometime when it's not 5:30 in the morning and I'm not supposed to be doing calculus hmwk) or you can just pm me and I'd be glad to share.

Thanks for all of you guys who tried to pm me a congrats.. your all so nice. Server was down and I just couldn't reply on this thread or read msgs yesturday, although I tried. Again, best of luck!!!!! GO COMMODORES! YAY!

Oh, and for those who asked, the fin aid full ride -- I can only assume that it was fin aid, which I do have a lot of.

all ed letter, good and bad, come in regular sized envelopes.

Didn't get my letter today :( Guess i gotta keep waiting

My son and two of his friends got their letters yesterday -all 3 got in! Good luck to everyone!

I got in!!!! WAHOO!

Congrats everyone!! Welcome to Vanderbilt!

ski4life617, where do you live?

I live in Bergen County, NJ and still don't have the letter either. I went to the post office and they don't have it, then I went to the local distribution center and they don't have it either (I know, I'm a little neurotic). I called the admissions officer and she said she absolutely cannot tell me or anyone over the phone until Monday. I asked if she could drop me any kind of indication and she said "I'd like to but I can't" and then laughed. Oh god these subtleties are driving me out of my mind! I really hope we hear tomorrow and congrats to all the new commodores! Hopefully ski4life617 and I will be seeing you next fall!

I am from northern NJ too and still no letter....i guess we are all in the same boat

Im in baby. Regular sized envelope, 2 sheest of paper. This is freaking incredible!

pasch check the thread i just made...

Really excited :D Anyways, yeah the envelope was regular sized. (I had the same nightmarish thoughts as VandyHopeful though xD) Yeah, so here're my basic stats.

SAT(Superscored. This is the best scores from each section): Math: 780

GPA: Depends. Unweighted it was like a 3.3(they use percent averages and it was an 88 with a 90 junior and so far senior year), but it is a difficult school without much grade inflation so they send stuff to the colleges indicating that my GPA should be interpreted as a 3.6.

Best wishes to everyone!!!
