anyone hear yet?

has anyone gotten acceptance letters yet?

JMU doesn’t send out letters they post decisions online in MyMadison. Whenever I log in though it just says my application status is complete, is that supposed to change when they post the decisions?

It will say accepted, rejected, or defferred next to it; theres a video on it. I’m checking it everyday… I hope it comes out before the 15th. Hows both of your stats?

My son got an email today saying decisions coming soon. Said he would get another email when the decision was posted.

My GPA is good, 3.6 but my SAT’s are what might get me deferred at best as I only got a 1540!!!

Is this for incoming freshmen? And comment above are you talking
about on a scale of 2400?

yes, it is out of 2400

My D will be deferred. I received a call from her admissions counselor a few weeks ago. She needs to take one additional, higher level core high school class. JMU is her first choice college, and because she’s homeschooled, she has the opportunity to adjust her schedule and squeeze that one more class in. As long as she meets this criteria, I got the impression that she’ll be accepted.

I was extremely impressed that JMU took the time to call and discuss this with me. She is just one applicant in a very, very large pool. :)

we only have received the status application complete

im no expert but they do look at everything not just one test so dont lose hope.

I’m so nervous! I’m out of state so I’m hoping for a phone call, but ill probably be deferred because of my courses

the waiting is rough i agree! :)

Decisions are live! No letter but website has been updated

i got in!!! i had a 3.56 GPA and only a 1590 SAT (540 math, 530 cr, and 520 writing) but i guess what got me in was all my extracurriculars and rigorous courses (all honors.) good luck with everyone getting in
