Anyone heard back on rolling RD yet?

I applied in mid-December but am still waiting as expected...just curious if anyone who applied after 12/1 has received an admissions decision yet?

Most likely won’t hear of one until late March/early April if you applied RD. I applied January 3rd, but that probably doesn’t mean much since you applied a month earlier than me. Guess we have to wait 2-3 more months. Sigh

I applied RD 11/24, heard back a few weeks ago. So I’d give it a few more weeks. Good luck!

What?! I applied ED and still nothing! Gah!

** I mean EA. sorry!

my school got a message from UCONN saying that they are not looking at any RD untill after they finish EA. They said they are planning on finishing all EA by mid febuary.

Applied in November, still have not heard anything. Has anyone been rejected yet?

applied mid october EA and still no answer!

Yeah, the whole process seems to be completely random. In big schools, rolling admissions isn’t really vital at all to apply early for in terms of the actual decision. But since most colleges have a May 1st commitment deadline, it’s always good to know earlier. I’m going to have to visit UConn in late April after I get in (hopefully).

I called admissions and they said RD will hear between mid Feb and April.

Accepted RD, applied on the 31st of December or thereabouts I think.

Congrats chehk!

I think the real question is when was your entire application completed though? Meaning when everything was finally processed

I sent in my application and materials before Dec 28th but didn’t get processed and completed till Jan 20th.

Thanks,
I believe it was the 16th? It might have been the 14th but I am sure it was before the 20th.

What were your stats? You may have been one of the “definite yes” applications. I’m surprised you’ve heard back already.

Ah, I see them in the other thread. Great job on the SATs.

Cheers man, I’m lucky UConn don’t require SAT 2s as those weren’t so stellar haha. Unconditional offers (aka acceptances) feel so good in comparison to the British system’s conditional offers (whereby you dont get in until you achieve certain grades). So happy that I am definitely going to uni now!

I applied as a transfer student, my application wasn’t completed until January 25, and I just received notice today that I was accepted! I was surprised that they made the decision that quickly!

Wow - congrats Josh! I applied too as a transfer student and they received my app on January 25th too. I just have to make sure my high school sent my transcript and it should be all complete. You must have been a really good applicant to receive news such fast. ;)

Let me know when people start hearing back…

Applied January 7th. Accepted March 3rd to the Honors Program! :D

Ok, that answers one of my questions. It looks like they are reviewing the RD apps before decisioning the EA deferred apps. More competition for us, but you know what, patience is a virtue and we’re up to the challenge!
