I met a mom and son along the way and he auditioned 12/7. He is at a “no decision” status which they are assuming is a waitlist. Mom heard several “no’s” were sent out but no one has heard of any acceptances from that date.

S is at CCM the 25th, just wondering if the process is changing. CCM normally sends out decisions pretty quickly from what I understand.

No word at this point would probably indicate an “on hold” status, in which case they would have to call to find out. All waitlisr and acceptance go out by email and the no’s went out snail mail. Hoping the best for your friend!

We attended the 12/7 audition, and our daughter received her “no” within the 7-10 day time frame promised. They indicated that if you didn’t hear within 2 weeks of your audition, you could call the office and they would confirm whether you were “on hold status”. It is nice to hear quickly…even if it is a “no”. CCM was pretty clear that “no” meant “no to MT”…but that you could opt for an alternate major. Good luck everyone. This process is full of “ups” and “downs”.

I spoke to someone in CCM admissions yesterday (young man - Justin? Jesse?) who said that the hope was that the “holds” will also be notified by the first week of March as to a yes or a no…

I saw one young man (oldgirl’s S) who has posted positively in the acceptance column or the 2014 column on the theatre boards … BFA Acting acceptance from the Cincy 12/7 audition. fabulous, and congrats to him! He is the only one I’ve heard so far…and according to <jesse; justin=""> , there will be “automatic” yesses which will come in each 2 week window …</jesse;>

But the majority will be put in the “hold” pool.

I am also hearing in any straight drama acceptances from 12/7 or 1/11 :-)

My S’s friend was at CCM on 1/11, she said all decisions would be received this Friday from that date and she received a rejection. She’s moving on.

So excited to say that my daughter received her acceptance for CCM Dramatic Performance via “Check my Status” on 1/15. She auditioned on 1/11. She is thrilled!

At auditions on 1/25, we were told that out of the 640 that auditioned prior to us, no one had been automatically accepted, but there have been a few people put on hold. We were also told that auditionees from 1/25 could find out their updated status (yes, no, on hold) on Friday Jan. 31 around 4:00 via the “Check my Status” page. For those put on hold, it basically means they are being considered but ccm is waiting until all other auditions are completed before making a final decision and those decisions will be put up by march 1. :)

I’m wondering that as well… If today was supposed to be the discussion meeting, and tomorrow was supposed to be when they handed off the “suggestions” to the University admissions committee, it’s possible they could be delayed, but then again anything’s possible!

My D. auditioned on 1/18 and nothing has changed on check my status…She didn’t think it went great so not hopeful but surprised we hadn’t heard anything.

Tarheelmom - At the 1/25 audition, they said they had given rejections already and had waitlisted others. No one has been accepted, so I would think that means your D was waitlisted. They said the waitlist people won’t know until March 1 if they’ve been accepted.
