Anyone heard from Cal Poly Pomona yet?

@oreocory132 hi do you mind telling me what exactly should be under my application received? so im just really anxious :/

i meant to put sorry

I went back to look on mine and it should be on “application received” I say you start calling and bug them about it. If you bug them the quicker it’ll get done.

Will I get rescinded with a D in ap stats? i just got provisionally admitted. Calpoly said they’ll look at my final transcipt, and i heard that if you only get one D in all of high school, then they;ll take you? i’m not sure if this is true

If you want to apply for housing exemption and is still waiting for an acceptance or rejection, will I be able to apply because the deadline for it is today…

You should call the school and ask them about it because applying for exemption is online and you can’t access the link unless you have been accepted.

i called the school this morning and the person who answered just said “they have until the end of april” until decisions are all released. i’m still at application received as a CS transfer.

i had a question: my to-do list has 2 items. both of them are financial aid award items, one from last year and one for this year. i click them and it only says “you must be admitted to view your award”. so this is not really a to-do item until i get a decision right?

So, if it still says “Application Received” is that technically the wait list or is it just them not getting to our application yet?

I have not gotten an acceptance or rejection from Cal Poly Pomona yet Dx It says “Application Received” Just like what Collegebound121 says, is this the waiting list???

My friend who has below a 3.0 and a low SAT score(13##) got into Cal Poly Pomona and I’m so confused to how she got in. She picked an engineering major too.

Anyways, I want to go to Cal Poly, but I have to make my decision by May 1st sooo…

(Sidenote) Sometimes I find it hard to believe that random friends from throughout the state get in with subpar grades like that, but regardless…

Either way, this week (most notably friday) is supposed to be a big week for sending out application decisions. Good luck everyone!

That’s not a low SAT score if it’s out of 1600.

GPA matters a lot more though. That’s only a 3750 EIS with a 1350 /1600

Im sure it was meant that a low score would be out of 2400

Then it must have been an engineering tech major (non-impacted). You can get into those as long as you have a minimum EI score.

Has anyone gotten accepted this week?

I got in this week, last night actually got an email
I’m computer engineering
Stats:
3.20 gap
SoCal transfer
All major prep done and kvetching
Major related course gpA around 2.9

Still waiting…Hopefully we’ll hear something tomorrow.

So, if we haven’t heard back this late in the game, is it safe to say our bets are off with this school? Is there any significant percent of applicants that are accepted after this time period has elapsed?

Its either pcc jr. College or pomona I got nothing to lose

^PCC is going through administration bs right now so… yeah. I’m getting out of pcc this semester :)
