Anyone heard from Cal Poly Pomona yet?

@seaprt thank you for the info. I am also transfering into that program and have a 3.19 gpa so I hope I get in. Btw I got new info today and they said we should be getting something in the mail anywhere from mid April to the end of April.

hey any1 know how or where to turn in the parent tax / dependent verification forms for pomona?

Wasn’t the deadline for those papers on April 04 or something like that.
I called for that question and they told me to mail them or fax them.
The Address and fax number are on top of the forms.
I faxed mine, let’s see what happens.

I just got the email for mine a few days ago so Im sure they extended it.

Ok4ever,

considering you have an above higher than last year’s average GPA and the fact that they accepted 74 percent to apparel merchandising last year, I would hope you get in.

Thanks seaprt
I have a rough idea what my gpa is but I’m not curtant since I went to three schools, two on semester one on quarter and not all my units are being accepted.
This makes me able to relax a lot. I just hope word comes soon =/

strpotseller,
You can turn in the tax forms in the financial aid office (3rd floor of administration building)

hey guys, i am a transfer student for graphic design major, anyone hear word from cpp yet~, man i wait like 2 months already. btw, my GPA is 3.45, but s***, nothing heard from cpp

Still stuck at “Ready for review.”

Transferring to ME with 3.75 GPA.

Do they take into account how many core major requirements have been completed? I am completing the Calculus/Physics/Chem series this semester along with differential equations and have completed all of my lower division general ed.

@pieisawesome, same here, all my GE requirements had been completed, i hate waiting!

I’m also an ME transfer hopeful. My status just says
“refferred to impacted plan”, which means under review :stuck_out_tongue:
I’m anxious to know already, this is my first choice school.

This CPP site is helpful to know what your status means.
[Application Status Help < eHelp < Cal Poly Pomona](http://www.csupomona.edu/~ehelp/broncodirect/applicationstatus.html)

I am also a transfer student from a local community college who applied to Cal Poly Pomona, and I STILL have not received any notification if I was accepted or not. Come on, Cal Poly! T_T

where is this “wave of application notices” the admissions department has been talking about? has anyones status changed since the beginning of april?

they just “said” but they r really slow!!!

I just recently notice their Twitter account, and some guy asked them when they were going to send the notifications and they are saying that they hear that they will be doing it until they have the exact amount of students they want and it could exceed until May. Go Check it out! and maybe that’d help for many of you.

Am still Eligiable for Consideration.
I guess Next Fall I’ll be going to Fresno State
Not Cal Poly Pomona if they keep us waiting any longer

I just called cal poly pomona and they told me that Eligible for Consideration students will find out if they have been accepted or not by April 20th to the end of April.

Sounds good, thanks for the heads up VVT

Yeah 1st they say by late March, now they say by April 20th, but when that day comes they’re probably going to say at the beginning of May, then they are going to say by mid-late May lol… They stay pushing the dates.

Are you all freshmen or transfers?

Im a Freshman
