@mariagonzales hmm i’m not so sure about csu fullerton. i never received my portal ID and PIN and i emailed them and it seems like they don’t even have my listed. but i’m not too worried about that because i don’t really plan on going there. CPP over UCSC mainly because of the major and because UCSC is like 7 hours away

a couple of my friends got in UCI today. One had a 3.2 and a 1740 SAT and another had a 3.5 with a 1400 SAT. i still hope i have a shot at UCI :(

Well I have some questions for all of you.
I was waitlisted for Architecture at CPP and now I was accepted just today.

I already paid my 400 dollar housing deposit at CSU Long Beach but CPP is my TOP choice. I will NOT get the 400 dollars back though :[

Will my ECD be waived? It was fully waived at CSU Long Beach.
Also, is there an initial deposit for housing? If so, can that be waived? I cannot afford to pay ANOTHER expensive housing deposit.

I was accepted a week or two ago and someone also posted that they were accepted. My GPA is in the 4.3-4.4 range with at M+R SAT of 1350 and ACT 30C, 33R, 32E,29M,29S.

I think the other one was also well over 4.0 with good SAT’s. Check the other threads here and you will find the info.

Hopefully we hear something in Feb. I got an e-mail fromm CPP that my the updates to my application were seen and my admission will be based on the updated application so decision should start already since the last day to update was on January 6.

I logged on to my Bronco Direct on Sunday and it said that I was provisionally admitted. I have not received an email or letter yet, but it appears that means I got in. I had a 4.06 Gpa, 28 on the ACT, do not live in the service area.

can’t really chance you unless you list your SAT score out of 1600. Even with basic research, you’d know that CSUs only look at math and reading only.

Overall for the college of engineering, you need an 1150 SAT and a 3.5 GPA. Since you’re applying to an impacted major, you’ll probably need a 3.8 and a 1250 on the SAT. I’d give you a lower chance, but you never know. Keep your fingers crossed.

I found a letter inviting me to Engineering Day with the first line reading “congratulations on your admission” or something like that dated January 13, 2012. I logged into my bronco direct and the status was changed to “provisional admit” [I was not aware for over a week]

I applied into the heavily impacted civil engineering program [we had a supplement due to 1400 people applying for 200 spots]

Stats: 3.81 UW academic gpa, 4.16 capped gpa [4.34 at UCs]
SAT: 1410/1600
Major: Civil Engineering
Live in CSULA service area, but near cal poly pomona

Hey guys! I’m a current senior and applied to Cal Poly Pomona as a hospitality major. I was notified yesterday that I was accepted! Anyways, to the point, I created a facebook group page for the Class of 2016 so if you’ve been accepted and are going to be attending Cal Poly Pomona in 2012, go join the group. This is a good resource to maybe scout out your future roommate, make friends, or get your questions asked.

I just got an acceptance e-mail last night!
GPA: 3.35
ACT: 29
SAT: 2060
Congratulations to everyone else who has gotten in already, and for those of you who haven’t received news yet, I wish you the best!

I actually checked my Cal Poly Bronco student portal every day, and like two weeks ago i got the provisional acceptance into their school of architecture. At first they just tell you that you are accepted as a provisional student, then later they send you a letter to your e-mail and they congratulate you on you acceptance if you do get accepted. I mean my grades were “ok”, i had a GPA:4.1, SAT:1510, and ACT:22. any questions let me know. good luck! :)

Just curious to all of you who have gotten acceptances, did you send in transcripts? I haven’t been asked to and I’m not sure if they just do that like check after? If that makes sense! Also maybe if you could chance me?
I want to go into their Music Industry program which they said they were searching for people to join so I’m not sure if that helps my chances?
I have a 3.5 GPA and ACT of 19 and SAT of 920/1600 my scores are pretty low
I was just curious if you think there’s a chance?
Thanks! :)
